Facility Manager – Paris Office
PathoQuest is a specialized service company (CRO), a spin off of the Institut Pasteur, which offers innovative solutions for the Quality Control of pharmaceutical products of biological origin. PathoQuest offers biotech innovators around the world a complete expert service from receipt of samples to the production of certificates of analysis. Its assays use proprietary sample processing protocols, a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) sequencing platform and specialized bioinformatics analysis pipelines.
We are currently looking for a Facility Manager for our Paris office
Your mission
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will ensure the operational and organizational efficiency of the site’s GMP laboratories and general services. To this end, you will carry out and manage equipment qualification activities, cleaning validation and computerized systems, in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and health, safety and security regulations. You manage the tertiary activity with the support of a laboratory and general services manager.
Your responsibilities
Laboratory management
- Manage qualification (IQ/OQ/QP, validation of IT and automation systems, drafting of files, qualification reports, scanning of documents, filing), ensure day-to-day management of equipment, and provide metrology for equipment that has not been qualified.

- Ensure that laboratory maintenance is carried out and clean equipment.
Coordinate building maintenance with service providers - Improve laboratory and store organization to enhance safety and performance of activities within a GMP framework.
- Manage on-call schedules, manage daytime alarms and ensure compliance with procedures.
Premises management
- Implement the general services and logistics management policy
- Participate, in collaboration with the HSSE Committee and the HR department, in providing employees with a working environment that meets their needs.
- Coordinate with external service providers to check the operation of technical equipment.
- Monitor installation, fitting-out and maintenance work on premises.
- Ensure the supply, follow-up and maintenance of safety equipment and update the single document.
Quality
- Apply, enforce and comply with the various quality standards, procedures and documents relating to facilities.
- Alert the Quality Department at all times to any risk to regulatory compliance and product quality.
- Ensure follow-up of procedures, non-conformities and CAPAs related to his/her area of activity
Profile
- With a higher education degree, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position in a GMP-certified laboratory.
- You have in-depth knowledge of installations and utilities in the pharmaceutical sector, and of equipment qualification/validation.
- You are familiar with quality procedures and good practices implemented in pharmaceutical establishments.
- You are fluent in English, as we work closely with our US-based subsidiary.

Location
This position is based near the Paris office (13th arrondissement) in France
