Analytical Methods Validation Head
PathoQuest is a specialized CRO, a spin-off from Institut Pasteur, offering innovative solutions for Quality Control of pharmaceutical products of biological origin. PathoQuest offers innovative biotech companies worldwide a complete expert service, from sample reception to the production of certificates of analysis. Its tests use proprietary sample processing protocols, a Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) platform and specialized bioinformatics analysis pipelines. Currently in a scale-up phase, we employ around 50 people at 2 sites in France and the United States.
We are currently looking for an Analytical Methods Validation Manager for our Paris site (Paris 13 BioPark).
Your mission
- Validation of analytical methods: Ensure initial validation and maintenance of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) throughout the project life cycle.
- Technical project management: Optimize processes and methods in collaboration with R&D and operational teams.
- Method transfer: Coordinate method transfers between different sites or between R&D and the LifeCycle.
- Maintaining conformity: Conducting additional studies and risk analyses to ensure method conformity.
- Continuous improvement: Implement strategies to automate and standardize processes.
Profile
- With 5 years’ higher education in molecular biology, engineering or doctorate, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position, with significant experience in a GMP environment.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in validation techniques (ICHQ2R2, ICHQ14), molecular biology, and IT tools (especially Excel).
- Languages: Fluent English (B2 level minimum).
- Personal qualities: rigor, analytical skills, team spirit and a sense of innovation.

- This position is based in the BioPark building in Paris (13th arrondissement), France. Compensation
